Before You Join

Do I need a business idea before joining?

No. You can join with an existing business idea or develop one throughout the programme. The online courses and pitching activities are designed to help you refine your idea into a structured business plan.

Who is this programme for?

The programme is open to aspiring entrepreneurs, startup founders, and small business owners who want to strengthen their business knowledge and develop a viable business idea.

Is the programme fully online?

No. The programme combines self-paced online learning with a mandatory 2-day in-person pitching programme.

During the Programme

How long do I have access to the online courses?

You will have access to the online courses throughout your participation in the programme. Any changes to the access period will be communicated through programme announcements.

When are the Demo Day and Live Pitching Day held?

Demo and Pitching sessions are conducted in monthly batches. A confirmed session will be assigned and shared after enrolment, subject to availability.

What should I prepare for the pitching sessions?

Before Demo Day, submit your demo pitch deck. Before the Final Pitching Session, submit your final pitch deck. Templates and submission links are provided within the programme.

After the Programme

What will I receive upon completion?

Participants who successfully complete all programme requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion

Am I eligible for BEDB co-matching support after completing the programme?

Yes. Graduates may apply for BEDB's co-matching support under the Starting Up category, subject to BEDB's assessment and approval.

What support is available after the programme?

After completing the programme, participants will be referred to the Enterprise Support Unit for continued advisory support and access to relevant enterprise development initiatives to help grow their business.

Can I continue to connect with the entrepreneurial community?

Yes. Graduates will be invited to join the DARe Business Community WhatsApp Group, where they can receive programme updates, business opportunities, networking invitations, and ongoing support from the entrepreneurial community.
